We are happy to share we hosted latest team meeting of the #FlexTEG project! This cutting-edge European initiative, part of the Eureka Network and co-funded by national innovation agencies of Denmark, the Netherlands, and Spain (CDTI Innovación), is driving next-generation thermoelectric technologies across Europe.
Led by our partner TEGnology ApS (Denmark), the project aims to bring the world’s first flexible Peltier cells to market—a true game-changer in thermoelectric energy conversion.
Consortium highlights:
- Flexiramics: Developing next-gen flexible ceramics that combine high thermal performance with mechanical flexibility, enabling innovative thermoelectric designs.
- Danish Technological Institute (DTI): Providing robust electrical contacts to ensure reliable and durable integration of Peltier cells.
- TEGnology ApS: Exploring sustainable alternatives to bismuth telluride that deliver higher thermal resistivity, improved efficiency, and no rare-earth dependencies.
- AEInnova: Contributing ultra-efficient, fully sustainable industrial sensing applications—enhancing wireless sensor range, real-time performance, edge processing, longevity, and maintenance efficiency.
Together, the consortium is advancing the development of clean, flexible, and high-performance thermoelectric technologies, setting the stage for a new era of sustainable energy solutions.
