Flexiramics has been named the overall winner of the Energy Tech Challengers 2026 competition, held during the Energy Tech Summit in Bilbao on 15–16 April. The event brought together leading innovators in climate tech, compute infrastructure, and deep‑tech materials, with Flexiramics® selected as the solution of the year across all seven tracks.

The jury recognized the breakthrough potential of Flexiramics® – a lightweight, flexible ceramic material engineered to enable the next generation of high‑frequency, energy‑efficient compute. As AI, 5G/6G, and data‑center infrastructure continue to scale, the industry faces increasing pressure from glass‑fiber capacity constraints, rising laminate prices, and performance bottlenecks at high frequencies. Flexiramics addresses these challenges with a drop‑in ceramic fiber reinforcement designed for a cooler, cleaner compute future.

The winning pitch was delivered by Flexiramics CEO Andy Wynn, whose clarity, focus, and ability to communicate the impact of the technology resonated strongly with the jury.

Flexiramics extends its appreciation to the Energy Tech Summit organizers for hosting an exceptional and inspiring event, and to the fellow finalists whose innovations are driving the energy and compute transition forward.

With this milestone, Flexiramics continues its transition from pilot production to commercial deployment, working closely with leading industry partners to bring ceramic fiber reinforcement into next‑generation electronics and compute systems.
